The 2nd SIFE Kenya Leadership Training

SIFE Kenya hosted the 2^nd leadership training for both students and Faculty Advisors on December 9-11 2005 at the Lake Bogoria Spa Resort. Over 30 participants attended this event which was facilitated by Sylvester John Regional Vice President, SIFE Africa. The event aimed at exposing SIFE Kenya teams to the new SIFE Projects Auditing Standards in order to ensure high quality of entrepreneurship outreach and national competition in Kenya. Sylvester John spelt out to the participants the new SIFE rules which have been put in place by SIFE Global and also explained the new SIFE Judging Criteria which will be effective at the 2006 SIFE Kenya National Exposition. Other topics that were tackled during the training include: how to develop good projects; working as a team; projects documentation; how to prepare annual reports, presentation skills and leadership. The 2006 SIFE Kenya National Championships will be held on May 27, 2006 in Nairobi while the SIFE World Cup will be held in Paris France, 11-13,  September 2006.
