Can Africa Learn from Wealthy Nations?

Wealthy nations quest to scale up agricultural food productivity inadvertently results in water pollution. Water pollution as a result of agricultural farm inputs is costing wealthy nations billions of dollars each year (Bloomberg.com; accessed March 13, 2012). According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), tackling agricultural water pollution across its member states costs tax payers billions of dollars each year (OECD.org; accessed March 13, 2012).
