IREN HP LIFE trainers were among the participants at the HP LIFE workshop organized by UNIDO on February 8, 2013. The workshop aimed at seeking solutions to challenges facing training HP LIFE centers laying out strategies for the HP LIFE program to reach out to many aspiring entrepreneurs. The workshop brought together trainers and centre Managers for the HP LIFE Program all over the country.

HP Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE) is a global program for training students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and small business owners to harness the power of IT to establish and grow their business, helping them build successful companies and create jobs. The program has seven centers in Kenya, ENACTUS (Hosted by IREN) being one of the centers.

Closing remarks for the workshop were presented by Mr. Ola Altera, the Director of UNIDO Kenya. He appreciated the human recourses in Kenya and the diverse skills and knowledge. He however noted that there is need to use HP LIFE program to tap the global knowledge and explore business opportunities. He thanked the participants for taking time from their busy schedule to share their experiences and to forge the way forward for H.P LIFE training.
