Africa Coming of Age

The scramble and partition of Africa did fragment the African’s environment not only physically, but also in terms of consciousness. Tribe was pitted against tribe and region against region. It behooved outside mediators to intervene in the anarchy to parch up the fragmented continent.

 

A new wind of change is blowing over Africa. Africa is beginning to rethink the good intentions prescribed for its survival. It is beginning to question the very principles on which its governments are founded. In this asymmetrical world, Africans have begun brewing homegrown solutions and letting goods seep through their borders.
