Why Africa is Still Lagging Behind

The recent announcement by WHO that judicious use of DDT can help in the war against malaria has raised heated debate amongst proponents and opponents of the chemical. In this issue two authors present their views on the war gainst malaria war. Also discussed are the risks associated with IPOs, the role of the media in a country’s branding, feeding Africans, why many SME’s are on the verge of collapse and the need for trade liberalization among others.
