The Huawei Mate 20 Pro offers consumers a compelling combination of high performance, longer battery life, advanced security and greater photography and videography experience through its Leica Ultra-wide Angle Lens camera, according to the company’s Head of Eastern Africa Mobile, Steven Li.

“Powered by its own in-house designed Kirin 980 AI chip, this advanced chip is fabricated with leading 7nm process technology, packing 6.9 billion transistors into a form factor the size of a fingernail,” said Steven Li, Head of Eastern Africa Mobile.

Fitted with an AMOLED corning Gorilla glass display of 6.39 inches, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro runs on android 9.o and has a RAM capacity of 6/8 GB, Internal memory of 128/256 GB and an external expandable memory of up to 256GB. The phone which is 4G enabled also supports dual sim mounting.

The camera is the most interesting part. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with a triple main camera of 40MP, 8MP and 20 MP combined enabling it to shoot videos in 2160p, 1080p and 720p. It has a battery life of 4200mAh 40W Huawei supercharge. Other features include in-screen Fingerprint sensor, water/dust resistance, USB-C, wireless quick charge and wireless reverse charge, which enables the device to work as a power bank for selected electronic devices supporting wireless charging (available on Mate 20 Pro only).
