Call for Abstracts: Re-purposing Africa’s Intellectual Capital for Development

Published on 10th March 2021

For the last 20 years, The Inter Region Economic Network (IREN),  a leading independent African Think tank that promotes ideas and strategies geared towards causing prosperity in Africa through free enterprise and sound public policy, has championed intellectual discourse and strategies aimed at improving living standards in Africa. Intellectual capital is one of the keys that can transform the African continent.

Recognizing that Africa is not short of intellectual doyens, this year, IREN invites you to come on board and be part of the dialogue through an Essay Writing Challenge. The challenge under the theme “Re-purposing Africa’s Intellectual Capital for a New Dawn of Development” aims to promote the energy, creativity, and initiative of the African thought leaders in reaffirming and promoting the critical role of intellectual capital required to transform the continent.
