Inter Region Economic Network (IREN) received a major boost this morning from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNST) that will facilitate the hosting of the Third Africa Resource Bank meeting. The theme for this year\'s event is \'Conquering Poverty in Africa through Business\'. The event has attracted participants from Africa, Europe and the larger America. Participants are expected to share and explore ways in which business can tap into the market dominated by the low income groups while spearheading innovations that will offer solutions to African problems.
International thinks tanks feature on the list of participants, this include, the Fraser Institute, Center for International Private Enterprise, The Heritage Foundation, Uhuru Group, among others. \"The Third Africa Resource Bank meeting is going to redefine the way the World looks at business and poverty. Instead of the poor being viewed as a burden, I expect to have them perceived as a huge untapped market. We must nurture business people and allow them to pursue their interests while offering solutions to
our problems\" James Shikwati Director Inter Region Economic Network
