The 3rd  Symposium on Stability of Oil Prices and Energy Demand

 

Introduction

 

Several topics and interests have emerged through the last few years dealing with fluctuating oil prices and energy demand on the national and international levels. The matter has to do with the causes of these fluctuations, their consequences and the future of energy, its availability and costs, as well as the reflections of the same on the world different countries and regions and on the exporters, consumers and those working in this field. Oil prices have lately witnessed noticed increase exceeding all expectations, and efforts have been directed towards developing and extracting fuel from non conventional sources. In the context of taking interest in these topics and subjecting it to scientific research and in depth discussions, this third symposium on the stability of oil prices and energy demand is organized

 

An Invitation for Participation

 

Specialists, researchers, and those working in the different fields of oil, energy, their prices … etc are invited to participate in the symposium by presenting abstracts on the symposium topics limited to 500 words before 30/10/2008. Deadline for submitting full papers is 30/11/2008.

4.Supply and demand and their changes.

5.Energy mix, alternative energy sources; solar energy, wind energy  and other sources.

6.Suggested policies.
