James Shikwati, Director, Inter Region Economic Network will participate in the Roundtable on African Cultural Institutions Conference in Algiers, Algeria on 17th October 2008 to promote African culture.

 

The roundtable which will precede the the Experts' meeting on 19-21 October and the 2nd session of AU Conference of the Ministers of Culture on 22nd to 23rd October 2008 will involve among other things-exchanging views, experiences and best practices; identifying challenges and constraints in promoting African Culture and developing strategies for effective cooperation among cultural institutions and the AU.
