As an emerging business hub, Africa faces unique challenges in attaining growth in bankable ideas, human resource development and a sense of obligation. The theme for the 5th IREN Eastern Africa Thought Leaders Forum will focus on “Africa’s Elusive Asset: The Mind as the Ultimate Capital.” This forum will discuss the mind as the ultimate capital, identify concrete ways to activate the African mind to create societal progress, map out ideas that can enable Africans to utilize their intellectual capabilities to produce useful products and facilitate the meeting of mind and money to attract success. Influential thought leaders will discuss their experiences, as well as the perceptions, strategies, and opportunities for Africa.

Each year, the IREN Eastern Africa Thought Leaders Forum brings together academics, professionals, diplomats, business leaders, and government officials to brainstorm on key issues that face Africa.

Application Deadline: July 15th, 2015
