I was reading about Mark Zuckerberg offering a 24-year-old young man a contract worth 250 million dollars to spearhead their AI development. In China a young man born in 1983 is now worth $83billion dollars. He is the founder of TikTok where our kids post videos of themselves twerking. Others use it for skits and "monetise".

My question was where do they learn these things?

At school they are teaching us how to dissect a locust, they are teaching us about Columbus, how to calculate the speed of a car travelling to Harare.

They teach their kids value addition at a young age and we learn about the names of the clouds.

A university graduate in Africa is now making a living producing skits not the apps. Most of these millionaires have no degrees but they were taught where wealth is.They understand that data is wealth, they understand algorithms,they sell our data to advertising companies. They show us that Facebook 'WhatsApp Tiktok is free and don't tell you how they make money from advertisers.

Our girl children are producing degrading videos of themselves dancing half naked and say they have monetised and are getting money...not wealth.

We have been programmed not educated. Information on where the money is is hidden from us.

How many apps have been developed by our degreed kids.

How many Value chains are controlled by our degreed kids?Nancy has a degree in agriculture yet has no idea how to make a bag of Feed, how to produce mayonnaise from eggs.She applies for jobs.

For this is what they taught us.

Cobalt comes from Africa yet we import cellphones for in class they forgot to teach us those things.

They forgot to tell us we owned the resources. Our kids will write Exams that they have absolutely no idea what they truly mean. When they pass they have no idea what it means.

Their syllabus is rooted in poverty. The major retailers are foreign owned and the products foreign sourced for they forgot to teach us how to can beans, how to make a simple pizza.

They forgot to teach us how to package our own food for the international market. And it's deliberate, calculated and a deeper way of colonisation.

As we speak, your kid is probably producing a Tiktok video while a Chinese kid is working on the next big app.

It's time to change the narrative.
