Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE Kenya) invites you to interview its Business Advisory Council, Student team presidents, Faculty Advisors, SIFE Kenya Country Director on the occasion of the 7th SIFE Kenya National Business Competition set for May 23, 2009 at Panafric Hotel, Nairobi.
More than 600 students from 14 universities' SIFE teams will compete for the SIFE Kenya National Championship title. The National Champion will represent Kenya in the SIFE World Cup in Berlin Germany early October.
Launched in 2003 in Kenya, Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE Kenya) mobilizes university students to make a difference in their communities while developing their skills to be socially responsible business leaders.
SIFE Kenya is an affiliate of SIFE International, the world's largest business and entrepreneurship organization founded in the United States in 1975. SIFE International targets university students on over 1500 universities in 47 countries. The Kenyan program has expanded from 5 universities in 2003 to the present 14.
Under the guidance of SIFE Kenya Business Advisory Council drawn from business in the public and private sector, University student teams are mentored to create an effective linkage between academia, business and communities in general. This is done through student outreach projects that focus on market economics, business ethics, success skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and environmental sustainability.
