The 5th Annual Bukura Cultural Day, an initiative of the Inter Region Economic Network (IREN) and Rural Youth Empowerment League (RUYEL) was held in Kenya's Western Province at Bukura Primary school in Butere District.  The event, which was held on December 24, 2009 aims at  enabling young people have higher ambitions, get exposed to global trends, celebrate their youthful energies, nurture talent and assist in tackling problems of insecurity.
