FNF Scholarship Opportunities to the Billionth African Training Workshop

The Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit (FNF) http://www.africa.fnst-freiheit.org/ is proud to announce scholarship opportunities for successful applicants to the 8th IREN Eastern Africa Media Training Workshop to be held on March 17- 20, 2010 in Kampala Uganda.   

The 8th IREN Eastern Africa Media Training Workshop whose theme is “The Billionth African” is organized by The Inter Region Economic Network (IREN). The training workshop is offering business editors, feature writers, reporters on regional government in Africa, opinion and commentary writers an opportunity to participate in discussing aspects required for transformational leadership in Africa.  

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Letter of interest
  2. Detailed CV
  3. In less than 250 words , indicate how workshop will be beneficial to your area of work
  4. Duly filled in application form (download)
  5. Must be Kenyan, Ugandan or Tanzanian  

Full sponsorship covers accommodation, meals, training materials and travel by bus to and from the venue while partial sponsorship covers accommodation, meals and training material only. The scholarship award will be on the basis of ‘first come first served.’

Please Note :-

  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.  
  • Applications received after the deadline will not be processed. 
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to award sponsorship on the basis of the strength of the application.
