Is Eastern Africa ready for China, India and Europe?

The 9th IREN Eastern Africa Media Training set for March 9 - 12, 2011, is designed to offer value to Eastern Africa journalists, media practitioners and communication experts on how to cover development issues in a changing global economic dispensation.
This training will have three main components: a high level brainstorming session that will bring together leaders from Eastern Africa, China, India and Europe; a scholars’ discussion and critique session; and a delegates’ workshop on the theme: Is Eastern Africa Ready for China, India and Europe?
The 9th IREN Eastern Africa Media Training will be held in Nairobi Kenya. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest and brief bio by February 18, 2011. Participation is by invitation only.
