Nuone(Lula) Chen (Program Manager, Sister Cities International) and Jennelle Roof (Director of and Grants, Sister Cities international) paid a courtessy call at the Eastern Africa Sister Cities office after participating in the 3rd IREN-SINO AFRICAN FORUM  that was held at Sarova Panafric Hotel (Nairobi) on 8th May 2012.

They were received in the office by the Program Manager Eastern Africa Sister Cities Mr.Raymond Kiptum who briefed them on the activities of the Eastern Africa Sister Cities,current and future plans which include the preparation for the 1st Eastern Africa Sister cities Forum to be held in July 2012.

Nuone(Lula) Chen took time with Mr. Kiptum to discuss the Sister Cities International’s  Sino- African Initiative.This is a program which is designed to address the manner in which Chinese, African and US cities can collaborate on economic development and urban poverty issues in Africa.
