Kabarak University: Enactus Kenya 2013 National Business Exposition Champs

The 11th Enactus Kenya National Business and Entrepreneurship Competition was held on Saturday 20th July 2013 at the Sarova, Pan Afric Hotel, Nairobi.

The competition brought together over 355 students from 15 Enactus Kenya affiliate  university teams(private and public) who showcased their community outreach projects to a panel of 21 judges drawn from 19 organizations. The event was graced by Mireya Marlene Dominguez Guilbot, Deputy Head of Mission Mexican Embassy in Nairobi. Also in attendance were Lenah Zamchiya, Vice President Capacity Building, International Affiliate Division and Jonas Atingdui, Managing Director, International Affiliate Division.

Kabarak University, were crowned the 2013 Enactus Kenya National Champions after beating 15 other universities in a highly competitive league. African Nazarene University came second and University of Nairobi third. Kabarak University will proceed to Cancun, Mexico for the Enactus World Cup in late September to represent Kenya in an international exposition that attracts university teams from 37 countries worldwide who participate in the prestigious Enactus World Cup.
