Goal: 

a)To identify an Enactus Kenya affiliate university with the highest impact community outreach project. 

b)To identify an Enactus Kenya affiliate university National Champion to represent Kenya in Beijing China for the Enactus World Cup 2014.
Who Participates?

The 12th Enactus Kenya Business & Entrepreneurship National Competition is an invite only event. Participants will be drawn from over 80 top managers of over 50 corporations and organizations. An estimated 50 faculty advisors and over 600 students from 19 Kenyan Universities will also participate. The Keynote address will be delivered by a guest diplomat and the Nairobi County top leadership.

About the Enactus Kenya Business & Entrepreneurship National Competition

Enactus Kenya manages the national business & entrepreneurship competition every year in accordance with the Enactus International judging criteria. The 19 Enactus Kenya affiliate universities showcase their community outreach projects and team leadership skills during the competition.

How does the Competition Day Run?

Enactus students arrive at 6.30 am. Business leaders serving as Judges’ participate in the orientation breakfast  from 7.00am-8.00am .The Opening Round League runs from 8.20 am-12.30 pm followed by a lunch break and thereafter the Final Round League that runs from 2.00pm-4.30pm. The day concludes with a 45 minute Enactus Kenya Award Ceremony.

Judges’ Focus

Once a business leader confirms to participate as a judge, he/she will be provided with a Judges’ Handbook that contains key guidelines. All Enactus Kenya team projects must consider relevant economic, social and environmental factors and tackle identified challenges using business, economic and entrepreneurial approaches. The ultimate goal of each project is to introduce the youth to techniques that can improve the quality of life and standards of living of their project beneficiaries.
