Kenya Should Reclaim its Glory

The chairperson of the African Union Commission has decried the unrest in South Sudan, Libya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Burundi and Mali, and called on Africa to take its rightful place in the search for a solution.

Kenya, a country that has brokered peace in many nations is set to join the list of unstable countries if bloated egos in the top leadership persist and dialogue is not given a chance, over electoral malpractices. The country, after seeing what some neighbouring have gone through, should not bury its head in the sand like the proverbial ostrich.

The leadership of the country has a slim opportunity to preserve the country by putting the interest of the citizenry first through sober and constructive dialogue, or watch it cascade to anarchy.
