World without Hunger WoH Project Visit – Lake Region Economic Bloc Region

IREN, a leading independent African think tank that promotes ideas and strategies geared towards causing prosperity in Africa through free enterprise and sound public policy in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Foundation targets Traders and Technologies along the agribusiness value chain in the Kenya Lake Region Counties with a goal to surface technologies and innovation key in impacting in food security and to grow agricultural value chains through the IREN Growthpad online program in the region.

IREN hosted Jules Maaten (FNF Regional Director Sub-Sahara Africa), Denise Dittrich (East Africa Project Manager) and Irene Lema (Assistant Program Manager, Dar es salaam) for  a two day visit  in Kisumu, Kakamega and Bungoma counties  to witness some of the initiatives supported by the foundation. The delegation had an early morning briefing at the IREN offices in Nairobi.
